Scottdale Early Learning is pleased to welcome four new members to its Board of Directors. They bring varied backgrounds and expertise in finance and product development and share a commitment to expanding access to high-quality early learning and supporting children and families.
Scottdale Early Learning’s Back-to-School Bash brought nearly 150 children, parents and community partners together on Saturday, August 8, at Tobie Grant Recreation Center in Scottdale for a day centered on family engagement.
Families received school supplies and STEAM kits while connecting with health, early childhood and family-support resources they can access throughout the year. The event also gave parents an opportunity to meet Scottdale Early Learning’s new CEO, Dr. Leah Skinner.
Scottdale Early Learning is now enrolling for the 2026–2027 school year, with spaces available for infants, toddlers, preschool and Georgia Pre-K.
For 49 years, Scottdale Early Learning has supported children and families by providing a safe, nurturing and high-quality early learning environment where children can grow, learn and thrive. Through its commitment to early education, family engagement and school readiness, Scottdale continues to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and the communities it serves.
I am an Early Childhood Educator as well and have been Praying for a quality school in my neighborhood. This place has knocked it out the park. I love the warm welcomes in the mornings and the level of professionalism from the staff. My daughter has learned so much in just a few short weeks. I never see the Teachers sitting around doing nothing, they are always engaged. The classrooms are set up well and the lesson plans and menus are always posted.
