Scottdale Early Learning (SEL) is proud to announce that its Warren Avenue location has successfully maintained its accreditation with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), reaffirming its commitment to providing top-tier early childhood education and care.
The NAEYC accreditation process rigorously evaluates the services, operations, and programs of educational institutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. SEL's main location at Warren Avenue has demonstrated its dedication to these standards, receiving accreditation once again.
“We are thrilled about our accreditation status,” said Virginia Baker, Executive Director. “We go through this process every few years. This recognition speaks to our team’s tireless efforts to align our environment, policies, and practices with NAEYC’s standards.”
NAEYC’s evaluation is based on a set of 10 standards that serve as a benchmark for high-quality childcare programs:
- Relationships
- Curriculum
- Assessment of Child Progress
- Health
- Staff Competencies, Preparation and Support
- Families
- Community Relationships
- Physical Environment
- Leadership and Management
“Families can rest assured that, at Scottdale Early Learning, their little ones are receiving the highest quality of education and care,” added Baker. “Our continued accreditation underscores our ongoing commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.”
